Our Story
Pelvic Health Should
Never Be a Secret
At Peak Pelvic Health, we believe every person deserves to understand their body, feel heard, and access expert care without shame. For too long, women and marginalized individuals have been taught to whisper about bladder leaks, painful sex, postpartum recovery, or chronic pelvic pain. We’re here to rewrite that story.

Meet The Team
Specialists Who See the Whole You

Dr. Amy Pannullo, PT, DPT, WCS
Dr. Amy is a Board Certified Women’s Health Clinical Specialist with over 25 years of experience treating pelvic health conditions in women, men, and children. Her approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and deeply rooted in both science and compassion.
Dr. Amy received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University in 2005 and became a Women’s Health Specialist in 2009. She has extensive expertise in urinary and bowel dysfunction, pelvic pain, postpartum recovery, and oncology-related care, including lymphedema and scar site management. Before founding Peak Pelvic Health, she spent 13 years at Duke Health as part of a multidisciplinary pelvic health team.
She is a respected educator, mentor, and advocate within the physical therapy community. Her background also includes a Master’s in Psychology and years as a certified athletic trainer—experience that helps her treat the whole person, not just the symptoms.
When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll find Amy running trails or spending time with her husband, two kids, and dog.

Dr. Lindsay Saunders, PT, DPT
Dr. Lindsay is a North Carolina native with deep local roots and top-tier training from Wake Forest University and UNC Chapel Hill. A specialist in pregnancy and postpartum recovery with trauma-informed care training, she brings a powerful mix of clinical skill, athletic insight, and lived experience to her work in pelvic health.
A former competitive equestrian and two-time Olympic Trials competitor, Lindsay also swam and danced competitively for years—giving her a unique lens on movement, performance, and pelvic floor function. As a twin mom, she’s especially passionate about supporting parents of multiples through personalized, empathetic care.
From postpartum healing to chronic pelvic pain and athletic recovery, Lindsay helps patients reconnect with their bodies and rebuild confidence—one step at a time.
“I had no idea pelvic floor specialists even existed before. I spent over ten years in pain and tried everything ever recommended by different doctors, including surgery to “fix” the problem. I had reservations about the entire idea because of previous trauma which left me with PTSD and made any type of touch difficult to tolerate. Dr. Amy was extremely understanding, patient and always checking to make sure I was ok. I will admit I was VERY skeptical of what she could actually do to help but the improvement I have had is nothing short of remarkable! I never thought I would be pain free for any amount of time let alone be able to have sex without pain! I am so incredibly grateful for all of her help! Best money I have ever spent by far! I can never thank her enough!”

Transparent care—with your healing, not your insurance, in mind.

While we are out-of-network, we provide you with a detailed superbill that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Many patients with PPO plans receive partial reimbursement for their care.
